Athlete Selection Criteria
Athletes will be evaluated during trials based on:
- Skill: assessment includes shooting, passing, dribbling, and both offensive and defensive individual capabilities.
- Physical Fitness: evaluation of speed, agility, endurance, and strength to determine physical readiness.
- Game IQ: observation during full-court and half-court games, and compatibility with ODBA style of play to assess understanding of the game and interactions with teammates.
- Attitude and Coachability: assessment of response to instruction and ability to accept feedback.
- Values: demonstration of alignment with ODBA core values.
