Welcome to the 2025 rep season!
Earlier this year the ODBA board undertook a review of the rep program administration to help plug any gaps from our growing program. Following this review the board has decided to add administrative roles (EOIs below) to help with the running of our growing program.
In 2025, we need more volunteers!
A list of those volunteer roles is below.
Club Registrar
For this role, we need a guru of organisation who can help keep our athlete lists in tip-top shape. The hard work for this role is front-loaded in the season, but there is some regular weekly work. If you are looking to help but can’t commit to a coach or manager role, this could be the role for you! Job Description EOI Form
2025 Junior Eagles Rep Subcommittee
We are taking expressions of interest for parents keen to be members of the 2025 representative subcommittee. This season we are looking for subcommittee members rather than making this the role of the team managers. The subcommittee works together to keep our rep seasons on track and organised, they help:
- Coordinate accommodation options for away rounds
- Fund raising activities
- Club communication with parents and teams
- Home round volunteer organisation
- End of season presentation
Throughout the season the subcommittee meets weekly to assign tasks and discuss opportunities. Please register your interest here EOI Form
2025 Head Coaches
The EOI for head coaches has been completed and coach selections have been finalised by the ODBA board. The board will now undergo a formal approval coach process with BNSW.

2025 Coach Director
The 2025 Coaches will be supported by Coach Director Paul Masters. Paul has an incredible depth of experience in representative basketball and player development, he will bring his support and experience to our coaches and athletes this season. The Coach Director will work with the ODBA Board, the Junior Rep Sub Committee and Club Registrar to maintain the growth in participation and performance of junior basketball in Orange
Trials for both girls and boys will commence September 8 for the following age groups.
